Speaker: Dr. James Eubanks
Dr. James Eubanks is a senior scientist and Division Head of Experimental and Translational Neuroscience at the Krembil Brain Institute at the University Health Network. He is also a professor in the Department of Surgery, University of Toronto. Dr. Eubanks obtained his PhD in Physiology/Pharmacology at the University of California, San Diego, and did his post-doctoral training at the Salk Institute in San Diego and at Duke University in North Carolina. In 1994, he established his independent lab here in Toronto at Playfair Neuroscience Centre and has been here since. His research interests include investigating the role of the epigenetic factor MeCP2, and its related family members, in normal brain function.
