Biography:

Melanie Cohn completed her Ph.D. at UofT, and her post-doc at Toronto Western with MaryPat McAndrews.

She is a staff clinical neuropsychologist at TW, an assistant professor in Psychology at UofT, and a clinician-investigator at the Krembil brain institute.

In her clinical role, she conducts neuropsychological assessments primarily with Parkinson’s disease patients in the deep brain stimulation (DBS) program. Her clinical research aims at improving the precision of these assessments in predicting outcome. Her research interests also include basic cognitive neuroscience topics such as episodic memory and social cognition.  

Marta Statucka is a clinical neuropsychologist at Toronto Western Hospital (TWH). She completed her PhD at the City University of New York (CUNY) followed by a residency at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and a clinical post-doctoral fellowship at TWH.

As a clinician, she primarily conducts neuropsychological assessments with individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. These assessments can be completed as part of the deep brain stimulation (DBS) program and to assist with differential diagnosis. As a researcher, she is interested in the social aspects of cognition, functioning, and well-being in individuals with neurological and psychiatric conditions.
