Presenter: Dr. Ehtesham Baig

Biography: Ehtesham Baig is a staff anesthesiologist and pain physician in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the University Health Network. He completed his training in Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto in 2016. Subsequently he completed training in Pain Medicine in 2018 as part of the inaugural class at the University of Toronto and following that he completed an interventional cancer pain management fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City which was partly funded by the Detweiler Traveling Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is involved in curriculum development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a particular interest in the education of pain medicine trainees. His clinical area of interest is cancer and palliative pain management using both medical and interventional treatment modalities.
