Biography:

Dr Sanskriti Sasikumar is a third-year neurology resident at the University of Toronto. She is also the co-coordinator of NIRVE (Neurology International Residents Videoconference and Exchange), an international resident-focused educational initiative. Her current research studies the impact of NBM stimulation on cognitive function in Parkinson’s Disease. Dr Sasikumar is pursuing a PhD under the guidance of Drs. Strafella and Fasano, which will focus on the rehabilitation of freezing of gait in Parkinson’s Disease.
